Today is World Youth Skills Day !!
In 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared 15 July as World Youth Skills Day, to celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship.
One of the main focus areas for World Youth Skills Day is to highlight the importance of technical and vocational education and training as a way of helping meet UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 – “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”.
Africa Skills are committed to helping more South African youth obtain the skills and experience to prepare them for a productive future.
